Offering well-qualified senior college students an opportunity to understand key international business and economic issues and experience real life business situations through on-site visits to offices, factories and meetings with CEO's. The program is made possible through the support and cooperation of leading international member companies.
An informal group of women executives of AmCham member companies who meet to share business ideas, management techniques and other matters of mutual interest.
The SDRG is comprised of a core group of select AmCham security practitioners and executives with security oversight, operating in the Philippines.
An informal, freewheeling "coffee club" such as the one the first AmCham members established in 1902; meets weekly, every Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. the Elk's Club (five floors above the AmCham offices) to discuss current events, issues and persohnalities in the news. A donation of P300 is collected and at the end of the year, at the Christmas Kapihan, the accumulated funds are distributed to selected charities. All are welcome to this "no host" meeting.
The Promoting English Proficiency (PEP) project is a joint initiative of the Makati Business Club's Philippines-U.S. Business Council and the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines with an expanding group of partners. The Project aims to improve the level of proficiency in English among teachers, students, and the workforce.
