Food insecurity and instability is caused by various factors such as inflation, access to availability to sufficient food, political stability, the Philippines’ growing population, as well as development policy of the country. Despite that, the Philippines as mostly agricultural in terms of the available lands, the country is still not self-sufficient in terms of production.
