Mr. Thomas “Tim” Muñoz Orbos
Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA)
Thomas M. Orbos started his career at the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) in 2014 when he was appointed as Assistant General Manager for Planning.
As Assistant General Manager for Planning, he was in charge of the preparation of medium and long term development plans, coordination and monitoring of programs and projects, formulation, adoption, and implementation of policies and standards to rationalize and optimize urban land use, as well as provide direction to urban growth and expansion in Metro Manila.
With the change in administration, Orbos assumed the position of General Manager in August this year and subsequently designated as Officer – In – Charge (OIC) of MMDA on 5 October 2016.
He also served as an Assistant Secretary at the Office of the Executive Secretary in Malacañang and was once the Chief of Legislative Staff at the Office of the Deputy Majority Floorleader in the House of Representatives.
